Love my solar panels for my 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan! The panels were easy for me to self install, however I went to a shop for the vinyl install (whom put them on backwards) .They work great at charging my portable generator. At most I’ve gotten around 72w but normally averaging around 60 to 61 watts in full sun. I did also purchase a charge controller if later I decide to do a 12v battery install. I very much love these panels and highly recommended.

Great communication once the order was processed. The quality of the product is great. The installation is simple and quick. The 60W panel was installed 14 days ago and since then it has produced 1.17kWh. No more worrying if the battery is going to be dead.

I do a lot of overlanding and my truck takes some serious abuse along with the need for solar power. I use a TAKSOLAR hood 80W panel to keep my battery full when the truck sits for a long time while I’m overlanding. Great quality, looks good, and most important it works! Highly recommended for overlanders that uses the FJ cruisers. Keeps my secondary battery full with my fridge and light accessories attached to it. Fast shipping and solid packing. Easy to install but you will need a partner. I wish it came with 3m double sided tape and a squeegee.

The Lensun Solar panel and MPPT controller is a brilliant kit that’s easy to use. It’s perfect for anyone looking to get into solar or wanting to camp / overland for longer durations. Being able to power additional appliances or having the piece of mind that your vehicle battery won’t run flat is great. At ~£280 it seems reasonably priced compared to alternative kits when you consider the Lensun panel has the benefit of being designed to fit the Ranger. The installation process is easy and can be completed within a day by just one person.
The SolarLife BT app is easy to use and navigate, although it’s not something you will need to regularly use post set-up. The Bluetooth range can be extended by optimizing the controller’s placement. The panel and controller are both waterproof which we put to the test off-roading.

I left this review for a couple months for some real world testing in outback Australia. And i must say it is holding up pretty good. Numerous 40+ degree days in the sun and red dust everywhere, it still keeps my second battery topped up. Installation was easy and i think it suits the old defender nicely. Thanks Lensun

Love my FJ cruiser hood solar panel from Lensun. Quality is A++. Shipping is very fast. If you are in the fence of needing of maybe upgrading to a second battery think of the benefits of adding a hood solar panel first before buying and installing the secondary battery. Also consider that adding another battery will require you to change your alternator for a higher capacity one. It complicates things. Not only a solar panel like this gives you weight savings you will have a full battery charged parking your vehicle in the sun.
Lensun solar will definitely recommend them and their product.
