3. Backboard: Durable fiberglass substrate backboard, better heat dissipation than PET backboard which ensures a long lifetime. ETFE film and fiberglass backboard can withstand extreme environmental conditions, maintenance-free for years.

Installation:
Can be fixed by 3M tape or sikaflex glue. We highly recommend install the solar panel with our specific vinly decal, the vinyl decal sits under the solar panel and protect the hood paint. The vinyl decal install on the hood in the same way that traditional hood vinyls or automotive vinyl stickers are applied.
The installation must be done in a dry environment between 18° and 35°C (64° and 95°F). In cold conditions, the solar panel will not have enough flexibility to form to your hood, and the adhesive will not properly bond. Your installation WILL FAIL.

I ordered the 100w hood mounted panel for my 2019 Dodge Ram Power Wagon. It took awhile to get it but, once it came in it was packaged very well and was everything as promised. I took the factory hood decal off my truck and had a local vehicle wrap shop apply a 3M wrap under the panel. Then I used 3M Double sided tape to secure the panel. It went on very easily and has been on for about 3 months with no issues. I am getting pretty good power from the panel and average 40-60w. I would highly recommend the hood mounted because it’s so much nicer then having to deploy a panel at camp.

Purchased this panel for 2019 my Ram 2500 PowerWagon. My vehicle already has a factory black vinyl decal on the hood so it was a perfect location to mount a solar panel. I ordered it and put it on the hood. I used a Redarc charge controller that I already had for my aux battery. So far it’s done great. It’s been able to charge my DH7 Optima aux battery and run my ARB fridge full time when vehicle is parked. Also, Lensun has done a great job in communicating with me as far as ordering and shipping process as well as answering my product questions.
